Chocolate company De Truffel (www.detruffel.com) started a new Bean to Bar shop in Alphen aan den Rijn. They already have a chocolate shop in Woerden which is very well known in the region. They want this same recognition in Alphen aan den Rijn. This is why I had to make at first one billboard to gain more publicity and get more customers.
Chocolate is a seasonal product. Especially the winter season with Sinterklaas, Christmas, Valentine and Eastern are important. We used these holidays to gain more publicity. I made eventually three billboards for Sinterklaas, Valentine and Eastern. During the Christmas days I made a Christmas brochure to also gain more publicity.
After the first, Sinterklaas, billboard we noticed a very clear growth of customers. This is why we decided to also make a Christmas brochure. A smaller growth was noticeable after here. This is the reason why we returned to billboards. The Valentine billboard showed again a clear growth of customers. In the future there will be an Eastern billboard, because of the constantly working effect.

PROJECT STEP BY STEP
Chocolate company De Truffel started a new Bean to Bar shop in Alphen aan de Rijn. They already have a chocolate shop in Woerden which is very well known in the region. They want this same recognition in Alphen aan de Rijn. This is why I had to make at first one billboard to gain more publicity and get more customers.
At first a clear overview was made of the corporate identity of the company. Colors, patterns and images were collected to create a clear overview of the company. The slogan is "Love it, Share it!". De Truffel sells high-quality chocolate and has its bean to bar line as one of the views in the Netherland. Besides there two shops they sell to bakers and supermarkets.
The Sinterklaas and Eastern posters are billboards along the road. Because these are made for the new shop in Alphen aan den Rijn the billboards have to be clear, with a sleek design and only the necessary information. The Christmas brochure could be a little more detailed. The brochure got sent to mailboxes in Alphen aan den Rijn. The slogan is just in such a way that it is recognizable and fits the time of the year. A short story is added, which explains the shop in Alphen aan den Rijn and the Bean to Bar chocolate line. During Valentine's day an event was held. You could delineate your own chocolate heart with chocolate for your valentine.
After the Sinterklaas billboard there was clear growth in customers. This was the reason to make the Christmas brochure. The brochure was not as a success as the billboard. This is why we switched back to the billboards. Also after the Valentine billboard a clear growth of customers was noticeable. Because of the continuous success also an Eastern billboard is made.
